Cary Medical Center, our many volunteers, and sponsors welcome you to “Ride Aroostook.” This is our fifth annual Ride! Ride Aroostook will provide you with a spectacular, fully supported cycling tour of the beautiful Aroostook countryside. At the same time, you will be helping support Camp Adventure, a one-of-a-kind summer camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes. We hope that you will have an experience that will last for a lifetime and that you will plan to make Ride Aroostook part of your cycling adventures every summer.
Over the past 17 years Camp Adventure has provided a life-changing experience for children with Type 1 Diabetes, and each year children are turned away due to a lack of resources to cover cost of staff and supplies. Our camp provides a one-to-one staff to camper ratio and we keep our camp registration cost as low as possible so that any child can participate. We want to expand our camp to include more children and Ride Aroostook will do just that.
Cary Medical Center, a department of the City of Caribou, Maine has partnered with First Giving to accept online registrations and donations, and to provide you with your own personalized Ride Aroostook fundraising webpage. We hope that you will use our online services to save cost and resources and to make it convenient for you to raise as much money in pledges as possible. Alternatively, you may telephone 207-498-1112 and register for on site check in.
We challenge you to become one of the Top Fundraisers who raise over $500 for the cause; a special gift and recognition will be provided to the Ride Aroostook 2015 Top Fundraisers.
If there is anything you need, if you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance during your registration experience, email: email@example.com and we will be in touch. You can also call our Ride Director, Bill Flagg, at Cary Medical Center 207-498-1376.
Thanks again for joining us in this important fund-raising effort. Our home base for the Ride is the University of Maine at Presque Isle and we are so grateful for their support. See you this August for Maine most northern cycling event: Ride Aroostook!
